Industry leader supports Responsible Gaming Education Week
RENO, Nev., Aug. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- As a reflection of its pledge
to responsible gaming, International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT) is a proud
supporter of the American Gaming Association's 12th annual "Responsible Gaming
Education Week," Aug. 3-7. During Responsible Gaming Education Week, IGT aims
to heighten awareness about responsible gaming among gaming employees,
customers and the general public.

Hart, president and CEO of IGT. "We're joining forces with the nation's casino
industry to sponsor and promote this vital 'Know the Code' campaign. Our

Connie Jones is IGT's Director of Responsible Gaming. IGT is the only
manufacturer to have a full-time resource dedicated to the implementation of
the company's responsible gaming program and policies. Jones' role helps
strengthen the bridge of communication and understanding in the gaming
industry, specifically between a gaming machine manufacturer and the problem
gaming communities.

IGT's involvement in Responsible Gaming Education Week will include
posters and table tents acknowledging the occasion at IGT's main offices.
"Keep It Fun" wristbands will be available along with informational materials
on www.IGT.com/ResponsibleGaming. Educational "Lunch & Learn" sessions,
responsible gaming training classes and daily "Did you know?" facts about
Responsible Gaming issues will be available to employees, as well.
